Hey all,

I was just browsing the job section on VFX Pro, and saw this post (http://www.2-pop.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=jobs&Number=583457&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1) looking for a C4D artist in Los Angeles for a 5 week project. Since I don't see all that many jobs for C4D users, I thought I'd post the link here, in case any of you are looking to do some freelance work! :D

yup sadly i can't take the job as i'm busy right now (thank god i finally managed to get some work), but there are plenty of other cali c4d users, i really hope someone replies to these guys as we need to make sure that cinema gets some good profile work going, and that no studio drops cinema for lack of workers.

Come one people

There has got to be at least one talented, hard working C4D user who needs work in Cali.

Yeah I showed my stuff, but being in canada without a green card already it just wasn't going to happen, frustrating since they are still looking a week after I talked with them. :/

It was already advertised on those two, I guess I should have mentioned it here.

That's a bummer, Kai. The seemingly inevitable war isn't going to help either. You need to find you an American girl to marry!

I just have to ocmment on this one! I dont understand that no one replied to the other guy who posted a job in another thread, but when Leigh posts something suddenly everyone responds?:surprised

I don't think it's helpful to the person seeking help to post that you can't help, which is mostly what this thread is composed of.

Yeah I'm also curious if they are working on the same project, I mean different contacts and such, but both looking for C4D artists for a five week project in LA. Anyways even if they are seperate, those who can't work for this one would have the same issues on the other one.

both my previous post:
"C4D artist needed
From the VFX Pro website (just passing the post along, I don't know any more info than this). . ."

and Leigh's post:
"job for a C4D user in LA
Hey all,
I was just browsing the job section on VFX Pro. . ."

are concerning the same post on the VFX Pro website. I guess Leigh didn't see my earlier posting.

nope, it was the other way around, leighs was first (check the posting dat 3/16/2003). still, we just need somoene to go and apply for the job, so don't asume you don't have the skills, the only way you're going ot find out is by applying (and hell if your'e accepted you could have a hell of a time) :D

The info I got was that 'belief' was looking for a few C4D/AE artists for a gig.

www.belief.com

That's not first hand.
