heres my hapless hero, that just didn't quite make it to the status he wanted.

as for his name, lets call him steve. or otherwise known as "the sock"

steve doesn't really have any actual super powers, but what he does have is a crap load of socks, that he uses to fight crimes with.

i thought this was also a 2d challenge, hmm... but if it isn't. i suppose i can pull off a model for this....i haven't really modeled in awhile, this will definetly be a "challenge" for me. thnx for the cool comments mtmckinley, and egypt

There is also a 2D challenge forum if you'd rather go for that one. :) I'd be interested to see this one in 3D, though. :D

mtmckinley, ya i know theres 2d challenges, i just didn't realize this was only 3d. but since this is, i will definetly give it a shot! even tho my modeling skills are rather weak if i say so myself. i will model it tho! im just hoping i will be able to finish on time...but we do have a pretty substantial amount of time im sure i can pull something off.

one question i do have is..how would i attempt to model the hair, do i use the shaghair? or simply model it out since its more of a big clump or something.

I think stuff like Shag Hair and Paint FX and such are not allowed for this challenge... Probably have to model it, I suppose.

ya makes sense, aight thnx mtmckinley, ill hopefully have some more concepts sometime soon...i dont think ill be able to start modeling til, i get done with all my finals! which sorta sux, but wut can ya do!

thats a great concept don, a really funny idea, and really nice stlye! I really hope you find the time to model this guy because he'd look great in 3d!:)
