View Full Version : how to make a trash shelf icon?

i have implemented a shelf bar in a UI and i need the trash icon like the real shelf bar
so i copied the code from shelf.mel and i have my trash icon.

the problem is that it doesn't work :)
is there any trick or anything to make it work ?

the fun thing is when i drag n drop a shelf button of my window onto the real trash. it works!

You can delete the shelf items with the 'deleteUI' command

well i figured out the problem!
i used a tabLayout instead of a shelfTabLayout. it must be something coded in the binaries of maya. i haven't found anything in the mels

now the trash works perfectly. i can have my nice pose remote :)
