Hey people!

I don't think many people here know me all that well but I felt I would hold out posting work until I had something I felt was a little more worthy of these boards! Its basically a CGI music video I have created for one of my songs called "S U N F L A R E". It took about 4 and half months to complete from design stage to final stages so I hope you will enjoy it :) The vid basically follows the conception of a robotic lifeform through to full foetal development.
Created in 3Ds Max, After Effects and Premiere.

Here are a few small screen grabs for a taste:

I'd like to credit Feng Zhu's art for inspiration on the "engine-room's" design.

Here is a link to the high quality DivX version (you may need to agree to download the divX viewer for your browser, it isn't spyware so don't worry! And you'll need to give a vid a min or two to buffer) :

I think that u spent a lot of time on this. And personally I liked it, it is quiet abstract but I like this kind of stuff (and music, too) good job

I liked your work. In fact I just posted it on my blog (http://dekku.blogspot.com/2007/05/cormac-kelly-sunflare.html).
Maybe sometimes it feels like it misses some visual element in the background. Apart from that, IMO, it's a great concept, and great execution, with a perfect balance between the cold feelings of the mechanics and the warm sensations of the womb.

Glad you liked it! Abstract? You know, I've never thought about it that way since it's been so clear in my mind from the start.

Nice to hear it made it to your blog! Thanks for the kind comments, am glad the core element of the vid made it through successfully :)
