Hello,
My mother had her birthday coming and I decided to make a portrait of her.
I started it all by making a quick sketch of the face and then colouring it. Took me approximately 12 hours. This is actually my 3th portrait made and I must admit; I have learned alot of new things when doing this one.
I hope you like it and suggestions to improve my future ones are welcome.

good work Alexander, well done...:).

personaly, i would have introduced more colors, definate light and shadows, all this will give some richness and volume to the painting. but its good even as it is.

a beautiful gift indeed...:).
