Hey, in v10 what happened to copying keyframes from one object to another? Searched the forum and found one thread about it, with a single post that went unanswered both here and C4DCafe, poor guy.

to copy keyframes from one object to another you have first to create a track for the object without keys. so for instance you want to copy position keys from object to another you need postion tracks on both objects.

cheers,
Bob

Thanks Matthias, but that's my situation--both objects have identical keyframe tracks. Two baked cameras, PSR information only, and I can't combine them. Attached is a simplified remake of the situation.

Use the powerslider, copy on one, paste on the other, you should also be able to ctrl+drag keys and tracks around in the normal timeline.

I meant to say thank you both for this, but the CG Society has a habit of going down for maintenance just as I'm about to hit the 'post' button.

So the upshot is that you literally use Copy and Paste now. Control-dragging keyframes only works intra-object, not inter.

You gotta use Control+Shift. Then you can do it. Control is just for the object itself, while CTRL+Shift will now go object to object.
