Anyone can help me out here would be appreciate!!

I'm trying to create a plane for grass using alpha, but the shadows r just like the plane, not the grass.... Is there any ways I can render it out for the grass shadow on plane with alpha??

Yeah, ray-traced shadows, not shadow maps.
You can enable them in Render Settings, and Light Shape Attribute Editor.
If You are using mental ray, be sure to set 'Shadow Method' to 'Segments', and uncheck 'Shadow Maps' field.

You must be using "shadow map" method. Check in Render Stats that you plane isn't casting shadows otherwise you scale resolutions of shadow map to plane. That will cause artifacts

I got it working.
But another question is dat is it only mental Ray can use ray-trace right?
Maya's default software render cannot do it?

Yes it can!
Maya Software uses settings from light shape node, where You can set shadow type and settings.
