This will be my first hardcore modeling challenge and I don't expect to come second last I will be doing a scene in the Ewok Village (Tree Houses ftw) The scene will include some Ewoks and a storm trooper if your lucky. Im not starwars fanatic so I will need some help on the realism part of it. This will also be a great learning experience as I have never made fur/hair before.

Don't touch that dial cause I will be back with some tree houses or Ewok heads.

I will be pausing my progress for lack of reference I can not find a single profile shot of an Ewok that is good enough to do my model so until reference is found I am paused.

This is the best I could find. That is a hard one.

Really they just look like round heads with a small snout. Mostly flat face so it gives them almost no profile. I'd give it a best guess try if nothing else.

Good luck.

perhaps try and find a toy/plush of one? See how they did it. I'd probably just try and wing it, if you have a front shot, you should be able to get a feel for it. As wyatt said, they're basically round with snouts.
