Title: summer-time
Name: Nikola Kraincanic
Country: Serbia and Montenegro
Software: Maya, Photoshop

This was my final work in the CHIRON school for creative tehnologies.
It is based on the one very old hosue which is located in the old part of my home town.I tried to achieve peaceful summer day in the afternoon.I know that the scene is little bit empty... Anyway, it is my first post here, hope you like it for the first time. C&c are welcome.

Modeled in Maya, rendered with Maya software render.

I must agree with Snips...it's a bit too cold atmosphere...it looks like autumn day if you ask me..
Try to work on your lights and to give a warmer feel to your image. Also i suppose that you used a software render and some maybe procedural shaders so it could be a problem in cases like this.
Did you use Final Gather and Ambient Occlusion passes? Also try to use mental ray's physical sky shader...it's a great feature...cheers!

Yes man, I already said that I used software render. :hmm:
And you are right I also use procedural textures. But what could be a problem with that????
No final gather or AO, photoshop only for textures no post effects.
