here's a fast one... only to get the idea of which formation stands where.... it seems somebody missplaced my waccom.. so i had to mouse-it.... it's not like my draing skills are great... but this is ridiculous.... i'll come back with an update of it :)

this is a thingie.... i don't really know what it is :) ... i think it brings up the space-ships from underground... and powers them up.. and .. send them out... it's basically.... a thingie :p
I like that thingie...
That is a NICE thingie....
Sorry - Shrek moment there...
Looks cool, but you didn't say on your sketch where the thingie was going to go ;)

the thingie which was generically called "heliport" is going to go in the place on the sketch called.... heliport :) ..... and the upper pipe is going to penetrate the wall.... btw... concept credit goes to Mr Feng Zu.
Ahhh - the top one is a pipe thingie...
I wasn't entirely sure what it was meant to be - whether that was the thing that sent out ships - it had a certain gun-like quality to it!
Nice work, though!

cool looking model you got there.. looking forward to seeing it actually in the landscape.

this is the space ship. There will be 2 types of spaceships. This will mainly fly in the background .. and they will be docked like on the sketch...
inspiration credits go to Mr Feng Zu.

Here's a test I did on the zooming/panning. It's rough, only to give me an idea of the possibilities. You can get the file here (http://azra.eonet.ro/canyon_camera.avi)
divx 5.02 codec required.

kewl, the begining is very good, when the camera "flies" over the rock., hey maybe you can even put a structure/ alien. alien plant on that rock?
Only I noticed the couds moving very fast.. I would say; don't let the clouds/sky move at all..
and if you use this animation, I think, the airport area wouldn't be very well visable... the fo
well carry on, your stuff looks very promosing !
03-19-2003, 07:38 PM
the clouds wil be moving a lot slower.. this was just a test...
a stucture there is not really good... i will have The orb flying from below the rock.....

The motion test has the quality of two 2D plates being moved, but the planned motion looks good! In fact, as soon as I saw it, I thought of the camera following an alien robot probe as it returns to base.
The base image has a good strong center to it too, so you are off to a good start. Composition was causing me trouble such that it took me all night to pick something (as a photographer originally, I tend to fixate on the found rather than collage).
There are going to be some amazing shots coming out of this challenge.

way to go man!
the clouds indeed are too fast but u said it's only a test so i won't bother u :P
i say u should concentrate more on the buildings than the ships...you can add later any ships you want ;)
i'll be watching you!
He he ! Good start with these model and with camera movments ! As i say it before you are in the right path ! I'm watching you !
