I am trying to free form fillet the torso of my model to its limbs. The fillet I am using seem to criss-cross, like shown below. I tried reversing the surface direction of the leg.( u, v, both and swap)

Maybe the parametrization is at right angles- thats as far as I can think:confused: Is there a function that I could use to bridge that gap.

Reverse Direction Left/ Right (in the atribute window of your fillet) . If Auto Normal Dir is off, you can use these options to correct a blended surface that has an undesired twist after creation. If you turn on either of these options, the blended surface responds as though you were reversing the direction of a curve that joins the blended shape to the surface. (The curves are not actually reversed.) By experimenting with these settings in the Attribute Editor, you can untwist the blended surface.

Another tip is to use the manipulator (T) to perform the changes at real time. ;)

Wait 45 minutes before going swimming after you eat.

parel... my post it's a "copy and paste" from the maya html help file about fillets. You must press F1 a little bit more... ;)
