What's he doing in the sneak clip when he jumps out from behind the last pillar?

When he jumps out from behind the pillar he is kind of doing a karate move and checking things out and making sure there isn't a threat. He's not too good at the whole criminal thing so he's a little sketchy on excatly what he should do.

Anymore animation critiques?

Really good! I would say there should be a bit more weight added at the end of the animation, when the dude jumps back, but overall, real nice!

I'd work on making both jumps at the end(the karate move and jump backwards) more snappy. They're both pretty floaty right now.

There is alot of freeze frames. Check back your curves.
If you wanna hold the frame for longer. Try slowing out. So that you dont see things freezing.

Besides that, your website. Try not to use flash. The first page "preloading page",
kills my feeling already. Employers wanna see your things fast. Dont let the visitors to
wait.

:D I am sorry if my words are too harsh for you..

I just read some threads. And I remember there is a thread for website.
They mentioned about what not to do. Please take a search ya?!

PS: sorry for the broken english.

Thanks everyone for your critiques:) I will be going back over my animation with what you said in mind. Thanks for taking the time to post.

MayLow; I looked up some of the stuff about flash websites, even found one with the title "why Flash is Evil". I can see why some people don't like flash and after I finish my reel I might change to html or use Dreamweaver. But flash does compress video really well which I love, so for now I will use that aspect of flash.

Any Critiques on the dialogue animation?

One thing to keep in mind with flash video is we can't scrub the timeslider when reviewing the animation. That's why I like quicktime movies. :)

Try holding the pose where he looks away a little longer and have him transition into the next pose as he starts speaking the first line. See how that looks.

Your work is great but its stale when your sight lacks design. A back button for navigating through the work would be useful. Some people might not know to click the pic to go back.;)
