Very nice image! Overall it is quite ok, but something does stand out IMHO, and that is that the cables that cross from one side to the other, their curve looks, well, too polygonal. Maybe if they did not have a white wall as a background, but as they are right now, the non-curve stands out.
Keep up the good work!

Well, Thanks a lot for your comments and crits. :)

Manuel, Stephan.. i am glad that you liked it. well, a first timer's try. but i will definitely try and improve upon the suggestion that u gave Manuel.

Shkumbinferizi : i am thankful to you to atleast leave a post, even though the piece was not upto your liking. well, i must say one thing, that we all have our own vision of looking at the same things differently and this scene might not have appealed to ur eyes. by looking at ur work, i see that u r more into sci fi and clean looking renders. pretty impressive work, but try to work more on the scene composition..
and may i also suggest that try and render the same scenes with the default lights in max and the scanline renderer. i would love to see the results..
thanks a lot for your crits and comments.. will be looking forward to creating something better thsi time..My second piece in urban modeling...:)

Hey man, cool u didnt get in a bad way! Thats what I like to hear!
And I really didnt mean to be rude or harsh :D
As for ur first render looks ok, but as I told u textures seem a bit odd on some places and lighting not very good!
U are right that Im not good at composition !
As for the scanline render and stuff, yeah I have tried once and it obviously doesnt give u great renders as it does with vray but u knowor whatever in the end its all about the artist, a tool is just a tool , hehe!
Take care and good luck!
Soon Ill post my new work as well!

Nice model and textures, especially for a first try! It wouldn't take a lot to push this to the next level, some more dramatic lighting, like contrasting shadows and some more color variation in the lights would help a lot. Maybe try to throw some occlusion in there too.

Great starting point!

hello friends. thanks alot for your generous crits and comments. these make a lot of diffecrence to me..:)
Obizz : i will surely try out the render in mental ray with GI and FD. thanks for ur suggestion.
Matt : yeah i had the occlusion in my mind. will soon take care of that and post the new render.
Shkumbinferizi : thanks a lot for ur reply. i agree a tool is a tool and in the right hands i does wonders.. :) well, i am working on the uv's and will most probably post the new render with mental tay GI, FD and Occlusion.. :)
thanks again all of u for ur generosity..
