I'm new to UV mapping, I like what wings can do so far, just like the rest of the program, quick results with little fuss, I'm trying to do mirror UVmapping, you know the things, you see it on video game models all the time, you create a full character, but the just map half the model, and use mirrored for the other side, how do you do that in the UV editor of wings. Whats the special thing one does to make the UV now hey its only half the model, but you can mirror these bits for the other side.

Just do the UV mapping while still mirrored that shoudl do the trick I do that ll the time and the mirror is copied over to the other side. But if you want different colors on each side or differences on each side. I don't know maybe puzzeled paul can help.

we can do that if its a character and cut in half, what about say If we are doing a simple oblong, say a wall section, and we want to do just half the box (but not cut it in half like one can say with a character) and have the other parts use the same map, we only need 3 faces to be mapped, the other 3 can use the same maps.
