Right now it doesn't support it, and I don't think that theres any way to fix that. You'll just have to wait for Microsoft to take their grand old time before we get support for it. At least thats the last I heard.

Microsoft :thumbsdow

Damn...

It's been almost 7 years from what I read that PNG is out. It's time to change a bit !

I fixed that by using a transparent swf in which I imported my PNG file, it's good but takes some more time...

well, we can still get transparency on gifs...so that'll just have to do for the time being. But it seems that MS is intent on building new software that isn't compatable with ANYTHING before they fix the old problems, so it could be awhile...:p

There is a way to show png's with their transparencies, even 8 bit alpha transpariences using the MS alphaimageloader in your html code:

<DIV ID="myDiv" STYLE="position:relative;
height:240px;
width:640px;
filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='yourimage.png',
sizingMethod='scale');
left: 0px; top: 10px;"></DIV>

You can read more about it here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/filter/reference/filters/alphaimageloader.asp

Strangest part is that IE 5 for the Mac supports transparent png's, but IE for Windows doesn't LOL......

lol if they know how to code it why don't they make it automatic ?

Guys at MS are pretty stupid sometimes :p

It must not be that hard to do it... :hmm:
