Hey guys, this is my first post here,
It's a short character animation I finished up couple of days ago.

The character name is Phii, this is the first episode, and maybe there will be more,

I used Maya for all of it

how long have u been using maya? and how did you add that explosion effect at the end?

I've been using maya for about seven months, I used to work with 3ds max.

The explosion was made with maya fluid effects, rendered separately and added later to the composition in After fx (sorry, forgot to mention it).

Hey, imho, i think that your character animation is pretty good, especially your job with eyes. I would like to know what u used to learn maya during all this time. And white background and simple sets are my favorite:))

Unfortunately I cannot watch it:(
Media player says it cannot find the appropriate filter for viewing it. What filter are you using so that I can install it?

I also tried downloading it, but it doesn't want to be downloaded:)

Yep that did the trick :thumbsup:

The main character is very cute and funny! My only crit would be that all the time he smells that stuff, he is too static. I know it's supposed to be the effect of the smell, but you could it animate it more expressively there. But this is minor; the movie was great! And I loved that green explosion!
