The bar that says

File - Edit - Modify - Create . . .etc at the top of Maya just disappeared. Anyone know how to get it back. I'm sure I've seen this happen once before and I fixed it but now I can't remember for the life of me. Thanks!

Schulz,

For future reference,
there are SHORTCUTS to remove the main menus : Ctrl-M

And to remove the menus off the viewports : Shift-M ...

pretty handy way of maximizing your real-estate!

does anyone know if the application bar (with minimize, maximize, close) can be turned off ? Mwahahahaha!

Cheers,
Sammy

nice! I didn't know that. Perhaps that's what I did on accident. Yeah, I agree with the realestate buisness...the more the better. Thanks for the tips.

Sammy: yes, you can turn that off too (Same menu in preferences >interface>show title bar> in main window)
