Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. When I try to run a reactor animation, or render out a complex scene, max gives the error, Out of Memory, and closes. I tried hiding all of my other models in the scene, and turn off all smoothing, and I'm still getting the error. Any suggestions? I run on a AMD Athlon x2 2.4 Ghz, 2Gbs of PC 3200 Ram, and have a X1900XTX video card, (Crossfire, not that that matters). Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Yag

this is a cheap cheat but try....

-hide evrything you do not need
-SAVE the scene
-OPEN the previous saved scene (w/the objects already hiden)
-TRY to render it (this way should save you about 100-200MB at least, depending on your scene structure, anyway hiding after loading the scene does not do to much on memory issues)

I do not promise but this works sometime
