Well, here is my most recent character. I still need to work on the textures for it but this gives a basic idea for colour. Thus far I only have 6 or 7 hours of work into it (that's being generous, surprisingly enough) and the modelling part is pretty much done. I've had a few suggestions that I will try and if you have any I can probably try those as well... but they will only be small tweaks.

I do intend to rig and animate him but that will probably only happen if I have time to learn how to rig in my spare time during the next month or two.

Hope you enjoy, crit away!

I like him a lot. He's got a Madman vibe happening. Would love to see him animated.

Very nice, he's got some character :)

The only crit I can see you need is the feet. Looks like at front of each one of them, they slope inward to soon and too much, making it look really stange from the perspective (and probably side) views.
Other than, excellent job on the model.

that thing is freakin cool! You need to make an animation of him. Cool style.

Ladycrowe - heh heh - isn't this two characters you've been working on in the space of a week? Did you get any further with the last one?

I like this one, it has some real potential for some really good stuff going on with him especially when it comes to animating some flame special effects - I would love to see him have his own heat haze but this may be difficult to do in 3D. One step at a time :)

Very nice :) Balrog's little cartoony brother?;) My only crit: eyelids. Eyes could be set a bit deeper, and eyelids could be softer. Otherwise, great, I can't wait to see him animated

wow, guys, thanks for all the feedback!

Jennbot - I'm hoping on going through some rigging tuts in the next few days so (hopefully) he should be animated in a couple of weeks!

Temporal - I've never really been happy with his feet and I was going to leave it... but if it's that noticable then I'll definately do something about it... maybe add a great big toe... *starts pondering*

AtrusDni - thank you!

FallenSwordsman - unfortunately the other character is on the backburner till I can think of something to give him a little more style. I've actually surprised myself quite a bit in the past week... it took a whole week to do my previous character and only two half-classes to do this one  I definately want to get some flame effects in there... mostly on the head, hands and feet (great for enhancing that secondary action)

azazel - you know... I didn't even think of that. If I make a few tweaks in around the eyes, it could offer a little more expression with the brows and cheek bones. Thank you!

Raul - thank you! it's definately a confidence builder when someone who's work I totally admire likes my stuff :)
