Title: Jungle Monsters
Name: Luis Nunez de Castro
Country: España

This time I have used more layer effects to give to the image a more interesting lightning, mainly in the background with saturate colors.

Gosh, they are really ugly!!! :p
Nice concept for a creature!
Hmmm ... perhaps very good roleplay material for my next campaign!

Woa that's really need, the BG looks kind mayish/aztec to me. I love the colors you used, definitive good use of more layers!

Darthiir, I like that you like it... you can find that creature in the rpg Anima, that I think now it's in stores in many european countries and will be soon in USA
Bran, I didn't think about the creature name, but maybe it's name could be something like Kataarshk ¿?
Heavypred, I think that more saturated colors in the creature aren't necessary cause it will cause the lost of the contrast between outside and the place where the creature goes on.
MayYeo, you have good eye... I tried to give to the background a Mayan look, but without copying real architecture of them.
Mayazeus, the inspiration of Dark Crystal is there, but unintentionally. That movie is one of my prefered since I was child.
The rest, a lot of thanks for your comments. I really enjoy that you like it!
I like subject matter, beautiful color.:bounce: auspice

nice, the creature reminds me of the skeksis in "the dark crystal".
maybe here in there a bit more sharpness would add to the overall impression.

I like the look of the monsters! The colours and atmosphere are all very nice too. The perspective of the building in the back looks a tad different from the one in front, but maybe that's just me. I'm looking forward to your WIP's!

Here's the sketch: a rough pencil sketch scanned and quickly colored, trying to find the general ligthning and feeling of the scene.
