Hey everyone, I'm looking for animator work in games, game cinematics or film. If anyone knows of any jobs, please let me know. I'd also like to hear what everyone thinks of my reel so far.

nice reel dude, though I have to say your strongest work is your "combat" stuff....I rekon youll have a good chance at games studios.

Yeah I have been focusing on cycles and combat stuff. I plan on enhancing it all with Animation Mentor as soon as I can get a job, my main focus is games at this point. Thanks for the reply Mr Bacon!

Hey we are starting a game studio we aint pros yet but were trying to get there you can join but its no pay right now cause we aint got it fully going yet.

Nice reel. I think the only thing your missing is a nice detailed piece. One that you spend a week or more on. Cheers

Yeah, I was actually working on a fairly long 'book end' piece for the reel about a guy falling asleep while he waited for something to finish downloading. Then my friend sent me a link of a guy that had just finished and rendered almost the exact same concept. So I trashed mine :(

But, life goes on! I plan on ratcheting up the detail in my work and I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT if someone had a big, heavy, detailed ogre with a sweet big-ass weapon. If anyone knows or has a guy like that I would love to animate it for your reel (and mine)!

Thanks man, yeah, I just started teaching myself how to animate with 3ds max. You'll definitely see something from me when it passes my quality tests :)

Thats great work. You can tell that the combat guys say things buy there heads moving, or maybe I just have a vivid imagination:shrug:

I dont pay attention to sound when watching an animation reel but I guess I could turn on my speakers:D
