I know about this new "feature" in 3ds max 5.1 :(
Maybe some of you know simple way(without needing to uninstall 3ds max5.1) how to move the Main Toolbar into the Tab Panel?
Maybe some *.cui edit?

Nobody knows how to move(copy) Main Toolbar to Tap Panel in 3dsmax5.1... strange...

I don't even know what that means..

Could you perhaps provide some imagery to help visualize the problem?

Erka2, I was wondering the same thing. The docking option is simply missing in 5.1... it worked fine in version 5 thou. Maybe someone could upload a custom UI scheme...

why not just create a new tab on the panel with the tools and remove the main tool bar?

Astral: but why I need to waste my time (try to make all Main Toolbar element's) for thing that I can do 1 sec in 3ds max 5. I know that this thing was removed because "little" Adobe and Macromedia have some f@!#$ pattents... and such "giant" Discreet(or Autodesk) - no!!!

The time it took for you to get my reply and it could have been done.

No offense but it was a suggestion. Sit and wait for a answer and complain or just do it? Hmm easy choice here
