character looks like good.

my bussiness law's rusty, but one thing that's bugging me though is that u used the FFX2 logo and placed the Copyright to your name. I know that you're making a character from the game and you may not have realized this, but it seems like you're taking the credit from the company and the people that worked on it for personal benefits. I don't think that you're making money off this and you're only using it to promote yourself, but it 'might' invite legal action. Again my copyright law knowledge is not as good as it used to be, but if it was me, i would take the copyright off, and maybe leave the logo off too. But i may be wrong...

cheers.

yes i agree....

always give credit to those that created it.

(c) squaresoft all rights reserved blah..blah...

anyway...i think the body of the character is great and right on from what i remember of screens, renders, and concept drawings of the character...

however i don't think the face or hair matches up well at all... it looks like paine (c) squaresoft...hehe..

but then again there's somethings wrong with her... perhaps you can restructure her face... study the images of her first (there are many) and see if you can find anything that may look different.

The problem with re-creating Square charaters is the high mark they set. Your model isn't bad actually but compared to the original, it appears second tier. The face still doesn't look like the original, maybe the cheeks are too wide? Or the chin to narrow (judging from my memory, don't have references now)

Technically, what bothers me most is that huge texture. I hope it's only your working resolution, for the game, I'd say you have 512 maximum, maybe it would make sense to seperate the head from the body. Also there's a lot space wasted, you may want to optimize some more and maybe re-use/mirror here and there.

Maybe you could post a wireframe too, to show if those 5000 tris are well spent to animate the face well.
