This is an excellent site for references to Han Solo ala 1977's A New Hope. Plenty of large pictures at a decent resolution makes this a far better source than some off-centered images that you'd normally get off of Google.

here is a good site for blueprints, though a slight pain to navigate for people such as myself who don't know the particular manufacturers...

Here is a site I found with some screen shots from the movies.

I am new to this but am a fan of Star wars and figured now would be a good time to give one of these challenges a shot.

Hey Roberto,

The links seem to be broken from your title post, may be just me and IE7 though, or the site is/was being worked on / updated when I tried.

i was originally going to go for darth vader, had a really cool idea worked out too....but then I got sucked in when I found a few ref pics of a certain freighter which is now going to be the basis of my model.

Here are some samples of the types of entries I want to see...

Hmm, so it needs to be a character shot (single/multiple) and not a scene? I was thinking of an action scene that would recreate the characters and the environement in the middle of the action pose. Those images look like portraits. For example I want to have a blaster shot caught mid flight around the heroes.

Or am I overthinking it.

An action pose will be great...

Jeff Russel's Star Ship Dimensions. One of my favorite sites. Not great detail but it does scale everything to get the sizes right. Also includes the Death Star.

I'm also looking for any close up pics of the side mounted blaster turrets on the AT-ST, especially the left side turret with the blasters. The concussion grenade launcher is fairly basic and I have refs for it. Any help greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.

Back in '98, I attended the National Air and Space Museum to view the Star Wars Exibit...These shots were taken through glass with a pocket camera, so I'm sorry they aren't more clear, but they are the original costumes..hopefully someone can use them....Good Luck everyone.

Just for the record I am using the "Star Wars Episode I: Insider's guide" CD-ROM(2 disks) by LucasArts for referencing my Naboo N1 StarFighter. I will be giving it an old and weathered look, so it will differ slightly from the original.

Also, should I have time, I hope to produce a Naboo Pilot for the craft as well. Again, I shall use the same reference material.

does anyone have the underbelly of the t-47 snowspeeder for refrence? I need it for a personal modeling venture but can find any details of the belly of it. All that i have found are the toys and legos which dont give very much detail of how it is put together.

Please Help!!

I've posted this pic in my thread, but I wasn't sure, after looking at your I'd-like-to-see's, if this pose would be okay or not? It almost seemed like you'd prefer them to be stand-alones, with no diorama aspect to them (which this scene barely is, but I want to make sure).

http://holonesquik.free.fr/Wolverine%20VS%20Darth%20Maul.jpg

Use this is a beauty render, but have them on a stand for the ortho shots? Or is this free-floating pose okay, or am I nit-picking over nothing?

Having worked on a "Star Wars" conversion for Battlefield 2142 for nearly 2 years now, I and my colleagues have access to quite an abundance of reference material, blueprints, photos etc.

If there is anything we can help with in order for you guys to perfect your masterpieces, please let me or one of the Lore guys know.

It's no trouble at all. :)

ADMIN: I posted this twice having not seen this original thread. Apologies.

Thank you very much for helping everyone on this forum...people have been going blind, browsing through frames of the movies to get some decent reference shots.

Boone is right.

This is not for this challenge, but for a personal project I'm considering starting. Does anyone know where I can find a top view of the Corellian Corvette (a.k.a., Tantive IV or Rebel Blockade Runner)? All of the blueprint and schematics I can find only show front and side shots. I'm probably going to press forward anyway with images from the film, but a top view would help clear some things up dramatically.

Thanks in advance!
