Uhm... what do you mean? Can you be more precise Tito please? If you mean about savings... i don't know if you're searching for the "Save Project" command, it saves everything (model, textures involved in the scene) in a single folder. If you need something for compositing and stuff like that... C4D has a great "Adobe After FX Project" export in the render settings dialogue... I hope it helps

Yup sorry, something like that. Like in XSI for example you define a project and its path, and everything that deal with that project gets put in their respective folders such as the ones you mentioned. So everything is neat and tidy in one area.

Ok now everything's clear. Like I said before probably the Save Project command will do the job
Hi Tito,
after using the "Save Project" function all textures and the scene file will be saved in a folder named after the project and the textures will be placed in a subfolder called tex. When using saved radiosity solutions they will be placed in a seperate sub folder as well.
If this project folder is available on a network it can be opened from any workstation without having to bother about paths, since Cinema will search by deafult in the tex folder first and then will continue it's search in the set texture paths (Preferences).

don't forget the browser tab allows you to browse through images/catalogs etc and can set up image/texture path locations in preferences and backup copies etc.:p

There is also a plugin called 'New Project Directory' that goes further than the New Project command ... creating sub-folders for scenes, maps, models, animation....etc
here is a c/p from plugin cafe.
New Project Directory _
Type:_Plugin
This plugin will create a directory structure for a new project under a root directory, which is user definable. This plugin will create directories for: Scenes, Maps, Previews, Images, Animation and Models. The names of these directories are user definable, if the fields are left blank then default directory names will be used. This plugin will also create, if selected, a directory structure for plugins.

If you are new to Cinema, http://www.plugincafe.com is a great resource
for plugins/schemes/x-groups/expressions.
cheers :)

Thanks guys, I didn't know about Save Project, that would be useful for moving projects around. I could use a tool like that for my kitchen, too
I must get around to reading the manual properly...

Hi,
Save Project is especialy usefull in combination with Net Renderer. You can simply place the complete Project folder in the user directory of the Net Server and the job is available for Net Rendering. This is by far faster then putting every single texture file online via the browser interface.

also dont forget that in your prefrences you can designate multiple folders for your textures and materials to be saved under.
