Hi all ..

I am modeling this dude, who has a longer history behind him than I care to explain in detail, but the general idea is that he has to drag large stones through the desert.

Note : I am currently painting textures on the body, the rest of the objects only have a temporary color. I have only painted the color layers so far, no bump or specular maps on the model yet - and the color layer is not finished yet. But Still I would love input on the textures aswell.

I would love your thoughts on this WIP.

well its a very interesting concept, but it needs a head and at least one arm. I would suggest making the arm deformed, or half mechanical/half organic.. The head the same idea. But it needs a head, somthing more to focus and convey emotions with. keep it up though, its very promising...

Thanks for the comment. its much apreaciated.

Its with full intension that he has no arms and no head

1. He does not need it, he is made of a dead body, the brain is dead anyway so no need for it ..

2. The arms are torn off so he cant rip out the stuff going inside him, like the body fluid recycling system etc. (not that he would be able to think that far to do it hehe)

3. He has no emotions at all .. so nothing to show.. just pull those huge stones..

more updates comming soon...

I have been working on the scenery today - the sky is painted in photoshop but will be exchanged with a 3D sky. The grass is Maya Paint FX.. Im not quite satisfied yet tho. More will come later.
