Hello folks, I'm fairly new around here despite what my join date will say.
I just finished up my "Fresh out of school, please somebody hire me" demo reel and I really wanted to get some feedback on these pieces:

http://www.jaheredia.com/files/reelsm.mov
Small Quicktime 8MB

http://www.jaheredia.com/files/reellg.mov
Large(er) Quicktime file clocking in at 19MB

Thank you in advance! :)

Some really cool stuff there mate  Was it just me or does the skull look like its moving with the cam panning around... looks alittle odd on the eye.

Good luck with the job hunting.

Not too shabby...your strongest piece was most defenitly the mantis in the beginning. Very Pan's Labrynth. Looked great! The other pieces weren't too bad either, woulda been nice to see a little bit better animation on the Trex but i know this is a comp reel. Still not too bad...Good luck man!

Thank you, you know, now that you mention it, I do see a little blip there towards the end, I guess I'd been staring at it for too long to even notice.

Yeeaaaa bro great work! I agree about that tree shot.. who did your animation? :D It'll be interesting to see where everyone in our class is hired. I'm glad you posted this up on cgtalk though. These guys know their stuff!

We should collab again! I say this now, as I have 2 unpaid crappy projects to work on... but yea we need to get the "production team" together for another cg live action integrated shot! Assemble the troops!
