Fantastic Render, a great piece of art, the looks very realistic, but I think it looks better if you put change the texture of the floor and put a texture like wood texture or similar.
Very good modeling and texturing of guitar.
Congratulations!

nice one, I know nothing of guitars, so I can't comment on its accuracy, but I'm sure its right on.
Did you use renderable splines for the strings?

I like the model but I see one thing that is off. On the top half of the body that strats bend a little bit inward. You might have it so i just cant see the bend but if not please add it =D

Thanks for checking it out guys. I don't call this piece a Strat because it's not hence the bits that don't look like a Strat. Here's a few close-ups of detail...

Ok, I have a guitar myself (Ibanez SA-160 :buttrock: ) and I think your model kicks ars! It is so incredibly detailed! Nice work!
Kan you post a wireframe? Or at least tell me how you made it?

Thanks armageddon_2k1. :)
I made it with a mix of box modeling and splines. I used splines for the main body, pick-ups, input, whammy, machineheads and strings. Everythingelse was box modeled. I'd make it better now if I made a new one. I made this last year and have learned so much in the time that's passed.
Take a shot at modeling your guitar. If you run into any problems, drop me an e-mail and I'll see if I can help you along. :)

I cant really tell from that angle, but it appears you dont have the tuning knobs on there. If so, i'd love to see a detail of the top. Excellent work!

Great, i like the attention to detail!
But I think the body is a little bit too reflective.

Yeah, the angle does hide the knobs. ( you can just about see one if you look closely ) I'll see if I can spit out a top view tonight sometime and post it. :) Maybe while I'm in there I'll update the paint job! :)
Thanks for having a look. :)

Very very nice again! I'm trying to model my Ibanez right now. I'm using boxmodeling combined with meshsmooth, but I'm not realy satisfied. I think I'll try splines now.
offtopic:
Do you play guitar by the way? And if you do..what sort of music do you play?
I'm a beginner (4 months now), but really eager (spelled right?) to learn. I can play some Metallica songs now (Enter Sandman, From Whom The Bell Tolls) and almost every Rammstein :buttrock: song, except 4. :applause:
