So what is it they feed you up at Vancouver? You guys are just blowing away the competition as far as student work goes. Keep it up. :bounce:

Very nice... looks like alot of components. The face is the best feature I think, he's got a cool expression lol....
Also a good idea putting skull / like shape into some parts of the armour.
Thanx for your comments guys. Yeah, BiTmap your right, i'm working on integrating the flesh coming out from underneath the armor, and regnan, thanx for your comment i had fun doing the face shapes (i checked out your webpage, great stuff dude!)
here's a closer pic of the face

Looking sweet man!! The dragons on the armor kicks arse. I also love the facial expressions on the character. The flesh was a nice added touch. Can't wait to see more of your work. Cheers mate.

Glad U like that site :)
I like the close shot of the face, very nice... the skin tone and the features are great. I went to VFS as well, are you taking the Maya or the 3D program? How U liking it so far?
Oh you suggested you might be making the flesh appear to "come out of the armour" ? If you haven't already I'd suggest just using a Lattice Deformer with lots of points to curl in the edge... then maybe airbrush some dark tones on the armour just at those points to mimic a slight depression....
