Very nice, man. I quite like the object as it reminds me of devices from the Myst series.
Looking at the textures, the only thing that I can find fault in is possibly the single texture for the wooden section. As it seems to be made up of various segments I would recommend a variation in textures between them - just to show that they came from various pieces of wood.
But that is just nitpicking, really. Good luck and keep plugging.

You have 3 lights from a bit different directions:the upper part, the middle and the bottom. But it's wrong because you should have one main light from one direction to keep the continuity. It's just can't be like that. In some parts we completely lose the feeing of the form, because it's completely dark, and you have no rims on it. you should try 3-point scheme, of at least add one more complementary light.
