Iīve been trying to learn maya lately an I have this little problem:
In max you can make the camera view rotate around your selection, object selection or for example vertex selection.
In Maya the camera always rotates around the center of the "world". How do I fix? :)

Hit the 'T' key to bring up the Manipulator Tool. Move the translate tool on the camera. The center of interest will stay in place while you adjust the orientation of the Camera. You can also group the Camera to itself and change the center pivot of that group node by hitting the insert key then move the pivot point.

Hope this helps.

JUST SELECT WHAT YOU WANT THE CAMERA TO FOCUS ON AND HIT "F"
THATS ALL THERE IS TO IT.

Thanks alot for all the help sigma and Darrell.
Still thereīs got to be a way for maya to do that automaticly?
I donīt wanīt to press F every time I select a new face! It (maya) should know that what i have selected is my target of interest, because it is, otherwise I wouldnīt select it...
