that's not an anime head, that's a mask

I think you have to focus on what you're going to do with the mouth - it looks a bit too round at the moment - you need to have a look at giving it more defined corners. Note that anime characters don't usually have much by way of lips. Check how other artists have done the heads and see how they've interpreted the mouth area. The only other qualm I have is with the breasts - they should be pointing away from the body at an angle, not straight ahead.

@qchan : I said that it was my first character so make crits that can help me or shut up.

for the others : Here is my head model

Kosmos' Head (http://anime-no-tengoku.chez.tiscali.fr/kosmos.html)

I'll fix the breast as soon as possible.

Unfortunately i didn't find Japanime style women on the gallery.

Thx for your help

Hi

I should have really suggested webpages where you can see other's work but unfortunately my database of these is somewhere else and is bad need of updating! If you are really interested in Anime style CG then there are a number of books called "Virtual Beauty Collection" published in Japan with the works of many Japanese artists with a wide variety of packages.

One of my personal favorites for Japanese CG artists is someone called Yamag, his English webpage can be found at:

http://www001.upp.so-net.ne.jp/yamag/e_top.html

He has a whole section on Anime girls to look at and his Evangelion models are awesome!

Other sites:

http://www.anitemp.com/
http://www.geocities.jp/n7717n/
http://www1.sphere.ne.jp/nekotom/

Hope they help!

Thank you very much.
It's very hard to model from a flat drawing.

I'll check right now your Urls

body looks very nice, eyes need to fit the mold that the face creates a little more and the mouth needs to be reworked, but you know this.. keep going.. im sure youll get it very soon.. as for qchan.. i agree with the shut up comment. there is no need for that kind of comment if there is nothing useful attached.

Hiya

Now that I'm on the computer with my CG database on it, I've got a huge amount of other Japanese CG artists that you might want to look at - some of them do have nudie content but they usually have a warning about it beforehand:

Got more if you want them!

Thanks you for both of you.

I'm working on my short movie (i'm a cg student) so i don't have much time to my personal project, but i'll try to update this thread as soon as possible.

well the face has been modified

I'm quite happy with this new model but I know it isn't finished.
