I Like it!!!!

I think the facial animation is great! There is a good foundation there for a really strong charactacter animation. The eyes are perfect, and in the end the eyes are what give your character life.

The body however feels a little static, like there isnt enough overshoot, and overlapping action. When he compleets a movement he almost stands still for 10 frames or so. If you make him pass the point you want him to stop at, then make him sway back to the final destination and never let him stop moving, it might look more fluid.

When he turns around, away from the camera, have his head lead the movement. Have him look where he is turning to, as he turns.

Looks Great so far though. And you english is better then mine and i LIVE in the Amricas of the US:)

After he says 'This is a castle', his hands have a bit of 'ambient movement', but his body seems completely still - some kind of movement would really add to this bit..

After he says 'many tapestries', it seems like a very sharp cut to walking sideways (he goes straight into it without any warning) and at the end of the walk...

Also, at the end, when he says 'I am micky mouse', there is no anticipation of his big move there either....

Nice, though ;)

MrSolo,

You've got a great little guy going here. When I watched your most recent clip, the first thing that I felt was that there was too much going on. You're hitting too many poses, and trying to do too much in too short of a time. "this is" is pretty good, but I would hold him there, and get rid of the movement during "a castle". I think the "many tapestries" is great! After he turns around though, he doesn't stay there long enough, he just comes back right away. Why not keep him there till "scottish law", and then on the big "i am mickey mouse," you could turn him there. Unfortuantly, I don't think the "mickeymouse" movment is working very well. Some of it is off the diolague, and it just seems like too much is going on. Maybe just motioning with one arm? I'll let you decide what to do. I hope I haven't been too harsh. You're doing awsome, and I can't wait to see an update.
