Thanks for the great response so far - We now have two spots remaining for our soon-to-be-announced PC-MMP project.

I can provide some details to anyone wanting to do an NDA by fax – but suffice to say it’s a well budgeted, AAA license that anyone into in fantasy RPG’s (or just amazingly popular licenses) would definitely be interested in. These are full time salaried positions, with some funds for relocation. The usual medical benefits and savings plans.

Still remaining are positions for:

Technical Artist – experienced with character setup in Maya – scripting an asset - Min 2 years experience.

Character Animator 3-4 yrs experience wth Maya.

Artists interested in the following Temp Positions should email a resume to: HR@turbinegames.com

We *also* have three Artist positions for Temporary Employees – this is a paid-by-the-hour in house contract position with no absolute guarantee of becoming a full time position – results will depend on your proven abilites.

thx,

I'm curious about the contract positions. Are they all in house as well or are you willing to work long distance for those?

Our Temporary Artist positions are all in house.

We don't do freelance contracts with individual artists right now - all our outsourcing is through studios - the volume of work we have requires a shop that can ramp up to meet the deadlines.

These job openings are really like Intern positions, but are not student postions, as a TA has a real chance of coming on full time, so cannot be tied down to a course load.

thx

Oh, thought I'd add in case you don't follow the PC world...we are the developers of Asheron's Call 1 and 2. AC2 was launched Nov 22, 2002 in partnership with Microsoft. We've been getting a lot of positive reviews on our oustanding graphics engine - such as this one from rpgvault...

Asheron's Call 2 Fallen Kings

Since its release several weeks ago, Turbine's online world has received unanimous accolades for its visuals. The game features a spectrum of diverse environments, both settlements and various types of wild terrain, that all share a richness of detail previously unseen in the category. The fluid character animations and eye-catching visual effects add to the title's excellence in this regard

i'm still interested in this position. I applied but i have zero experience other than contract. I'd love to do an art test to show my skills. I've got a few new models as well and am willing to relocate. Thanks
