CGTalk - sparkle effect

hi,

im a begginer/ intermediat AE user and i wanted to simulate a sparlke effect.

like wipping a cloth over a glossy surface and revealing a clean surface but with one or two sparkles after the wipe.

any help will be much appreicated.

for the specific effect you are looking for then just create a new solid layer and apply a Lens Flare effect to it and then Keyframe the brightness value of it

if thats not enough for you then you might want to use a particle system like CC Particle World, or Particular or even Particleillusion
