Nice, looks pretty good. It reminds me of sci-fi channel's vfx. The birds looked real, but the dinosaurs looked a little fake. They didn't seem to move right, but that just might be me. Over all, it was pretty good. I have one question, what program did you use?

Hey lilurik,

I am using Maya.
The birds actually aired on the Sci-Fi Channel, the Film was Called "Kaw" inspired by "the birds".

I updated the Reel tonight if you click on the link you will see more shots of that show.

Thank you very much for your feedback lilurik! :)

this was a pretty impressive collection of work Xavier, I especially liked the camera projection bit. My only crit would be that the music is a little distracting at times, you might want to consider an instrumental version instead of one with lyrics. It may just come down to personal taste though. Cheers and good luck with the Toronto studios!

Yes, that was a very good VFX reel! My opinion is that you shouldn't have started with the fish, they are the weekest link.. I know you did a lot of work on them (it shows) and they fit to the music so nicely, but it just isn't as spectacular as the other ones you have. Like the birds, they're awesome! Some dinosaur scenes are not so great, (they're good, but again they don't get to the overall level of the reel).

Oh and I liked very much the music and how it fits with your demo. Cheers and best of luck with those studios!

Rockin: Thank you for the suggestions! I'll see what works best with the fish. Thank you for you good comments!

LiannaS: Thank you for your comments. Actually i am looking anywhere in the world right now. Not only Toronto. :) Thanks!

Scob: Thanks!! Pas mal en effet vous cherchez un artiste VFX pour quand? de suite? ou fin aout? :D
