Advice needed URGENTLY....

The gnomon dvd's for expression are perfect dvd's if you are new to expressions. the first dvd's starts from the basics , introduces common expression commands you will use such as "rand , vectors , gauss , etc" than the second dvd builds up on the material presented in the first dvd and shows more advanced examples. I'll highly recommend them.

As for the Mel for animators book , I am currently reading it. It is very clearly written and helpful , i learned more from that book than i learned in 8 months dabbling with the MEL manual.

MAYA 4.5 fundamental stuff... ...
