Title: Farewell.
Name: Waheed Nasir.
Country: Pakistan
Software: Painter, Photoshop

hello there, sharing a portraiture, done in painter and photoshop, using tablet. simple, elegant and impactful, were my major cercerns here and to get that particular farewell expression, that we often experience (well, not all of us do...:)).

did consult quite a few refs for preparatory sketches, including, Jan Vermeer's "Girl with a pearl earring", Titian's "Man with a blue sleeve/Man with a quilted sleeve" and a couple of other master pieces from the past, along with some contemporary refs as well.

many thanks for coming in...best to all...:).

Impressive eyes and hair!

If I may, IŽll point out some problem-areas in the portrait:
You might look in to the area around the nose and upper lip. The shape of the lower nose doesn`t look right. Also look at the sharp edge on the lips. They look "painted on". Maybe some blur will do the trick. And last, the eyebrows... Try making them smaller and more out to the sides.

Just some thoughts, keep up the good work!

Regards
O.Martin

Beautiful! I think you succeeded in keeping it simple and elegant, thats what it feels like for me definately. Coloring feels very warm, and the image has a feeling of sorrow.
Very nicely done!

Only thing that catched my eyes is the maybe her right (our left) cheekbone (is that what its called? the putrouding area below the eye) looks abit, pointy somehow? Nothing big and I might be completely wrong ^^

Love it :D

(thank you for commenting on my other image btw, didnt see until abit late!)
