Animated clouds is a new feature in an upcoming patch of PD Pro 4, prolly named 4.0d or 4.1 (TBD). It can move and change the appearance of the clouds. Inverting the images turns dark clouds to bright areas which cast bright rays in the Mystic vision filter. Inverting back shows it as dark rays. Using the alpha channel we can reduce the opacity of that 'shadow' in the higher areas so as to make sure they don't appear too opaque and block the distant parts.
Silver lining created by way of the color gradient, making it go from dark (inside clouds) to bright (outside of clouds).
