I think it's a good idea for a painting. Should be pretty cool.
I think you need to work out the poses for the characters before going any further though. The poses of the characters don't really look natural. In a painting the pose and the anatomy of the characters is kindof like the foundation for everything else so it's important to get that right before adding alot of other detail.
I would spend some time looking for some reference of people running in a similar poses. Or get a couple people you know to run towards you and take the reference shots yourself. This is something I actually do quite alot.

hi Feyd-Rautha, thanks for your reply, and thanks for your tips, unfortunately, because this projects are time sensitive... today is already the deadline for this peice... there is still so so many flaws I can see in it even myself... but a deadline is a deadline haha... it's just like a little head start warmup so... I had about half week to finish it, and this is actually my first paintin IN PHOTOSHOP, i've done photo editing with photoshop but never actually paint using it. there is 3 more of this requirements in the class, all I can do is to incorporate anything I learn from the previous peice and add it into the next to make each newer peice look better, I'll post the WIP for the next one here when I started it. so here is all I can managed to put into this one
