View Full Version : Afterburn resolution problem
lramos 05-13-2007, 08:58 PM HI! I need to make a 3k render of a scene with aferburn, smoke works fine, but seems to be a resolution problem with the fire.

How can I fix that?
I tried to play with the level and sizes, but nothing solves the problem.
Thanks.

can you show the difference from a say a 720x480 shot?

Sorry, I don't have the file with me right now, but at low resolution the fire is normal, well detailed, but I think at 3k, the fire strains up a little.
Maybe there's a way to increase the quality, but I couldn't find nothing that fix it.
Thanks!

have you posted this on the afterworks fourms? maybe you can get a answer there.

your stepsize and fallof seems to be to high. will increase rendertime, but should work ;)

So I need to decrease them? On the globals?
Thanks guys!
