Hello

I have been using maya abaut 2/3 weeks and now I'm modelling this head.

I have little "problem" that I cant find help from maya help or great forum like this :). (probably couse i don't know the right words)

The problem is, that I want to see vertex behind shaded surface. Now i'm jumping from shaded to wireframe mode to find right vertex. (of course with hotkeys, but it still takes time)

And is it possible to get some lines between vertexs, like there is in polygon proxy mode

explaining picture, oh yeah:

that last picture( with vertex ...) is made is PS, of course

I wouldn't have any problem if i could print screen that from maya...

blaah...

I don't think you can show vertices that are behind a shaded surface, I'd like that too since I do find myself hopping between the 4 and 5 keys a lot. It's not a big problem though, you get used to it quick enough. There's always X-ray mode but then you don't get to see the surface as clearly...

But you can show, er, "some lines" (we call them 'edges' :) ), do Display -> Subdiv Surface Components -> Edges to toggle them on and off.

Wabo.
