I put more detail in this picture than actually shows up. For instance the riders have detailed legs and shoes. This was because I modeled the riders before I designed the robot horses. I initially thought they would ride on the outside like on real horses, but the robot designs I worked up changed that notion. For those who are wondering, there is a Syd Mead picture of a similar subject matter (only on a MUCH bigger scale) but it was not the inspiration for my picture. This picture was inspired by photos of motorcycle racers going around a curve.
