View Full Version : The Hapless Hero - Character - PhWhitfield
Phwhitfield 03-14-2003, 09:44 AM OK, I'll give it a try. My hero is going to be really really small. He usually rides on a flee or a fly. Healways wants to help mankind. But People always think he is some sort of an insect and try to kill him.
This is a very rough sketch:

and that's what i got so far:

i am sure going to change a lot and stuff, but i think I'll sure stick on to my idea.
Oh and his name is going to be microman.
He was once bitten by a rabid atom. And started shrinking. But developed the ability to talk with insects.

Rye: A jokey. I didn't think of that, but you are right! Cool thought :)
I thought more of some kind of an English police officer or something like that. Can't remember. ;)
Well his trousers are developing. But i still have lot of work to do. Really time consuming making a whole charakter. Never really did it before...

Ok, the basic shape is done. Now it is all tweaking around and stuff. But i don't know how detailled i want him to be. I'm really looking forwar to texture him... :)

Rye: Yeah i think you're right they are called bobbies.
Rmotis: Yes maybe i can scale it up. But if i do so, it is going to be bigger than the head. I'll give it a try might be fun ;) Thanks.

OK, i think won't add a lot more details and connect the both halfes now and not just mirror them. Have to take care he doesn't look mirrored anymore...
I want to keep him realy simple and maybe give him an insect or something to ride on. Not sure at the moment. We'll see...
