hi everyone!
i've got a c4d problem that seems to outgo my poor modelling knowledge a little:
following task:
circle a staircase along a helix path upwards on the inside of a winded sweep nurb tunnel, so that the individual steps are always aligned in the way, that the staircase fullfills its natural function.
here's what it should look like ... somehow: http://www.markusmooslechner.com/stairs%20copy.jpg
what i've tried so far is to duplicate a single step so that the steps follow a helix path. the next step would be to have the helix path follow an arbitrary spline (or sweep nurb tunnel), so that the individual steps adjust their angles properly.
can someone help here? ie, in case there are xpresso options, i would be very happy if someone could help me out here, for i am not a real xpresso wizzard.
thanx everyone - i will be very happy to post the final results here. the final result will be a "walkable" environment for an online project.
a very poor sketch as to the basics of the project can be found here: http://www.markusmooslechner.com/skizze%20copy.jpg
thanx everyone
