Yeah, I know that 300 look is starting to be a little overplayed now, but I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how it was done in the film. I figured this was the best place for the question.
I tried to give the below image that kind of look. I don't know who took this pic, I just found it on google.

Here's what I came up with by duplicating the image, then turning up the saturation and turning down the brightness. Then I used the 'color' blend mode and overlayed the original image. I added a sepia filter.
Then, on top of those I used a gradient and blended it with linear dodge. This is what I came up with.

I know there are probably a few ways of doing this. Just wondering if anyone knew a better way.
