Title: Snowy environment
Name: Michal Matczak
Country: Poland
Software: Photoshop
Hey all
This is the first image totally made with the custom brushes, inspired by Vyle's Gnomon DVD. It's not nearly as detailed as I wanted, but I thought I could go on detailing it for ages and not be satisfied. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it and still it's a bit plain, but I think it's OK for the first batch.
So here it is - kinda rough, but I like it. I'll be posting more here soon, I want to paint as much as I can. So drop by. :)

Very nice concept! I like the cinematic angle you've chosen, dropping everything on a slight angle. Your use of colour is really great, primarily cool with a hint of warm where needed. I also think you've done a great job of using varying contrast to create depth (more contrast as you move forward in the image). Interesting architectural designs too, both on the building and the ship. The only thing I might jazz up a bit would be the sky... it's a little flat compared to the rest of the piece. Nice stuff!

Waheed - thanks for good word :) Expect more of me on this boards, I got one waiting and another to be finished.
Urrgos - about the sky - I didn't want to distract the viewer with it too much and I intended to make a really high cloudscape, that is barely seen from the ground due to he haze etc. Glad you like it :)
Thanks for all the comments :)
