hello
This is my first rendered animation ever. It is about a guy named Murphy who has got a date. But everything goes wrong(Murphy's law). I made it for a contest and had about two months for the 3d part but I ran out of time, so there are still some bugs in it.
I already have a few points I'm improving at the moment to put the movie in my portfolio.
If you have some critics or comments please post them here so i can put these on my list of improvements.
Of course the whole animation could be better, but this will take some more experience. I would appreciate feedback about unnessesary animations, bad camera work, bad rendering and just things that didn't come over well. Feedback on the overal animation and animation errors are also welcome though.

The movie can be found at:
www.strongbat.nl (http://www.strongbat.nl) (streaming mov)

http://strongbat.nl/Murphys%20date.mpg (download)
PS. I'm already taking out the super unnessesary credits in the end :p.

Congrats on finishing it! The animaton could be a bit more snappy but overall a good first short. Keep it up!

thanks for your response
the whole animation could indeed be better and more snappy, I'm noticing that the scenes I'm fixing now are already becoming better. I'm also fixing some camera movements after some feedback I got on another forum.
All feedback is still welcome of course, but I would especially like some feedback on the pase of the animation/story, like maybe it's too slow at some points or unclear animation/camera work.

thanks,
boyo!
