Will Kayadara export Flash animation or the flash format???
So does it export SWF?

How can I take a character I modelled in Metaseq, boned and rigged in Poser and get it to work in Kayadara? FBX supported in Poser.

I'm sorry guys, I like to model in a Japanese program or Rhino, then import the obj into Poser, bone it their, animate and set my scenes up. Its just easy for Flash animations.

But animating in Poser is hard, you make one wrong move and the character is spinning flyin and such, and Kayadara seems to be the edge I need. Seems simple enough. I go for simple to create again simple cartoons for www.newgrounds.com look up Flog. Any idea how I can get this workflow.

I can only think of BVH files if Motionbuilder exports those, that woould work.

I've gotten a better workflow since then and made it more Flash animation then this cut and paste mpeg stuff.

You can animate in motionbuilder using one of the stock characters, then export the motion as bvh. There are some skinning tools, so you could rig your characters in MB. I don't know how difficult that would be. MB does render Flash, but I haven't used that feature.

Hey Flog,

Just to add to brian_dlm's repsonse, you can render to SWF format from Motionbuilder, as well as TIF, TGA, AVI, and MOV.
