Another one of the characters I'm working on. Once again, its a revamp of one I've built before. I'm happy with what I have so far, but I think there's a couple of places I'll have to tweak once I build part of the arms and legs.

She kinda has that mannish look. Think her head is too small or narrrow. Her shoulders too broad. The wrinkles on her breast look bad but good. They look like wrinkles, but they give away that she is half mirrored geometry. Give them some variations. Fix the seem. Good stuff so far. How about a wireframe?

yeah, once everything is finished, I'll add variation to the seperate sides. Like I said too, I'll end up tweaking stuff once I start adding the legs and arms.

tweaked her head some to make it more femine.

Looks great, nice curves. Sometimes with female characters the textures on the face really make or break I think... it really can add ..... dark eyes and lips that is... Will be cool if you post your textured model later on.

yeah, textures can really make or break a character no matter how nicely its modeled.

Ok this is looking great but i have a few comments.

The fact it is suppose to be a women confuses me when i look at the face. I think the face is...

1.) Too long
2.) To sculpt a women try to make more noticable cheek bones
3.)tweak with the shape a little.

Besides that man this is looking very promising

hummm.... interesting. I'll think about shrinking the length of the head. I'd had the cheek bones more prominent at one time and thought she looked too masculine. *shrug* I'll mess with it some and see what comes up.

I know exactly what your problem is, the chin. For that facial structure (no sharp features) you should bring the chin up some. There is too much space between the bottom of the chin and the bottom of the lip. That will help give the jaw a more rounded look, and make her look less mannish. I suggest you look at x men women, or other comic book women heavily to see how they make them look muscular yet very femenine.

Keep up the good work.

are you giving it a Aeon Flux type of look? if so.. the heavy sculpted face is neat.. if not... Smooth her up a bit.. i mean.. id have to have atleast 4 drinks in me to do her as she is now.. You wanna move towards 1 or 2 , or even No beers..

My 2 cents,

I think yer trying to model a Shading line in the face... unless shes sucking her cheeks in , you can make that smooth with BARELY the *sucking* type look on her face. and the lighting will make that line for you...

see, this is what I thought would happen, I've got one camp of people who want more noticeable cheek bones and one camp that doesn't. Sheesh, people, make you your minds! :p j/k.

all of her outfit is done now. I'm quite ready to get the hair done. I'm head out on vacation for a week tomorrow, so I don't know if I'll get it done or not. I may do it after I post these pics.

I've also continued to tweak the face and I'm much happier with the way it looks now than it did a while ago.

Kinda quick for an update, but I go her hair roughly added. I kinda like it as it is and I'm debating over adding the ponytail or not.

Looks pretty slick, Isamu:buttrock: Except to say I'm not too taken by the cylindrical features upon the shoulders, I can't really fault it.

haven't posted in a while, been real busy. Started messing with her textures. Still messing with the skin tone and the shader. Ignore how white the eyes are, I've already fixed them and will have a new pic soon.

Other than the textures of the clothing, which look REAL muddy, the arms of this broad are well... too broad. Her upper arms don't look too much thinner than the thighs. A woman who has arms that beefy would probably have equally large thighs. Unless she has been skipping her squats when she goes to the gym.

The rest is Kool and the Gang
